Power to the people!

Power to the people!

Well, congratulations to all those who have been shortlisted for The People’s Book Prize 2010/11. I am, of course, absolutely delighted that ‘Gruff’s Guide to Fairy Tale Land’ is among them. And a big thank you to all who voted – not just for my book (although I am deeply grateful), but for any of the writers. It is the public voicing their opinions and casting their votes that make The People’s Book Prize a success. The voting for the final closes on 20th July 2011 and the winner will be announced at the Award Ceremony on the same day! Exciting stuff….

The next People’s Book Prize (2011/12) is already underway and it has recently been announced that Frederick Forsyth is the new patron for The People’s Book Prize, which is great news. Please spread the word about this prize so more people can vote for their favourite  book!

So happy voting, everyone….and if ‘Gruff’ takes your fancy, please give him a click!
