I had a fabulous time on Saturday at the ‘Bags of Books’ summer party in beautiful Lewes.  The party was held at the Buttercup Cafe (who serve a scrummy hot chocolate, by the way) and there were all kinds of exciting events going on for children. (This was very handy – while I was making monsters, three of my children were elsewhere making trolls!)

It was great fun to meet the families who came along and there was some marvellous monstery mask-making…
