16 Apr New book deal with Scholastic!
I’m really enjoying the beautiful warm weather, so it’s slightly odd to turn my thoughts to a chillier time of year, but…I’m delighted to announce a brand new Christmassy book deal with Scholastic!
‘Alien’s Crazy Christmas’ is illustrated by Jamie Smith and due out in October (but I can’t wait that long to spread the good news!).
This rhyming book is about an alien called Zobble who came down to Earth one Christmas. Having decided that his home planet should have a Christmas, he attempts to recreate the celebrations with his alien friends. However, he gets a little muddled when his spaceship spins upside down and mixes up his notes. Cue some hilarious scenarios as things don’t exactly go according to plan….!
As with my other books, this one will be donating 5% of royalties towards a charity concerned with saving babies’ lives. ‘Alien’s Crazy Christmas’ will be supporting Tommy’s.
Big thanks to my lovely agent, Julia Churchill, for sorting out the deal and to the team at Scholastic for loving Zobble as much as I do. I’m so excited that this book will be hitting the shelves later this year. More will follow in due course, once I’ve stopped living in the garden and eating ice-cream.
