26 Jun Mermaids go to Eastbourne!
A special, sparkly **thank you** to everyone who came to the magical mermaid event at Eastbourne Library yesterday and to all the wonderful staff for helping to make the morning a success.
I adore the magical, mysterious world of the mermaids, so it was brilliant fun to dive into Estella and the Falling Star once again.
We had many happy mermaids…
…with spectacular artwork…
…scary and downright weird sea monsters…
…and LOTS and LOTS of sparkles!
There were competitions to win copies of the book:
Estella’s lucky star draw…(well done, Mia!)

The lucky stars start filling the treasure chest…
…the best sea monster…

Well done, Evie!
…and, of course, Rosie the Librarian’s favourite mermaid!

Well done, Milla!
Congratulations to all the winners and to all the children who took part and enjoyed creating some marine magic. Have lots of fun with the mermaids!
If you missed your chance to buy a copy of the book, you can buy a signed copy here for £5.00 plus £1.50 p&p. Copies are also available in The Redoubt Fortress, Eastbourne.
Every copy of Estella and the Falling Star sold donates 5% of royalties to ICP Support, which is concerned with saving babies’ lives. So thank you to everyone who has bought a copy – it’s helping to make a difference!
