Happy birthday, Monsters!

Happy birthday, Monsters!

Do Not Enter the Monster Zoo is now 3 years old! I’m pleased to report that the monsters are now fully potty-trained (although a full potty does tend to provide interesting dung-flinging opportunities).

They are, however, still enjoying the odd tantrum, for example when they are told they are NOT allowed to stand in the toilet…even if they DO wear their wellies.

The monsters have also been going out and about on their travels. I can only imagine the mayhem they are leaving behind them.

It’s been a lovely three years. A huge thank you to everyone (big and small) who has read the book and enjoyed the monsters along the way. I’m delighted Monster Zoo has been shortlisted for so many wonderful book awards. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting many schoolchildren and running many different events around the country. The book continues to donate 5% of author royalties to Tommys, who fund research to save babies’ lives, so every book bought does make a difference.

To celebrate the last few years, here are a selection of some of my favourite photos. Enjoy!
