23 Jun Bookshop book tour!
Huge thanks to Crediton Community Bookshop for including me in their Schools Programme this year and to all the schools and children we visited.
I was delighted to take two of my books, Ellie’s Magic Wellies and Pirate Blunderbeard: Worst. Pirate. Ever. on the tour.
I had great fun performing dramatized readings of the book (what better way to spend the day than pretending to be a crazy puddle-monster or a rubbish pirate!)…

Playing pirates…
The children made some brilliant magical puddles with a puddle-friend jumping out!

Puddle friends from Haywards Primary School

More puddle friends from Haywards

And more Haywards’ puddle friends
And it was immense fun bringing to life the story of Pirate Blunderbeard: Worst. Pirate. Ever.
The children at Brampford Speke created an amazing mind map, starting with a character, and then developing an entire story.

A pirate mind map!
We also made some amazing sea monsters!
And had lots of pirate fun!
The book tour ended with a Robo-Snot event at the bookshop. Thanks to everyone who came along and had fun with the world’s sneeziest robot!
So thank you again for everyone who was involved!
